Disney's Newest Animated Feature 'Brother Bear' Comes to Life in Interactive 'The Magic of Brother Bear' Show Opening November 1 at Disney's California Adventure™

Kids and their parents can hear a heartfelt and humorous tale of brotherhood and meet the characters from “Brother Bear” the exciting new animated feature from Walt Disney Pictures, at “The Magic of Brother Bear” show only in Disney’s California Adventure at the Disneyland ® Resort. The new audience participation family show premieres Saturday, November 1, which is also the nationwide opening day for the motion picture.

Located in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail area of Disney’s California Adventure, “The Magic of Brother Bear” show brings four of the film’s characters to life in an interactive storytelling experience. Friendly totems of characters from the film will now mark the entrance to the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Inside, visitors find fun-filled opportunities to get a bear hug from “Brother Bear” characters Koda and Kenai and enjoy the hilarious antics of “talking totems” Rutt and Tuke, the humorous moose co-stars of the film. There are also opportunities to “be a bear,” learning to move, growl and roar under the direction of the storytelling wood carver at the Ahwanhee Camp Circle in Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.

In addition to the show, guests can explore the new Kenai’s Spirit Cave, where a special surprise awaits those who place their hands in the glowing bear paw print. “The Magic of Brother Bear” show will continue as a permanent addition to the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. The 15-minute Ahwanhee Camp Circle show, followed by the opportunity to meet with Koda and Kenai, will be presented six times daily.
