Napa Rose Achieves Number One Overall Ranking Among Orange County Restaurants in 2004 Edition of Zagat Survey

The Napa Rose restaurant at the Disneyland® Resort has achieved the top Orange County overall ranking in the 2004 edition of the Zagat Survey for Los Angeles/Southern California Restaurants, the first time it has earned the county’s top overall spot. In addition, its exceptional Food score also gives it the top Food rating among all restaurants throughout the Los Angeles/Southern California region.

Featuring California Wine Country cuisine, the Napa Rose is headed by noted Executive Chef Andrew Sutton and General Manager Michael A. Jordan.

The guide’s review reads, in part: …”over the top dining” on “enthralling” Californian creations by chef Andrew Sutton, a “creative genius” who “brings the wine country to OC” with “gastronomic marvels” that “reflect the bounty of the season” all “presented with panache” by an “intelligent” “highly trained” staff that “knows and loves the cellar” (GM/sommelier “Michael Jordan’s selection will astound”) …

More than 200 Orange County restaurants were evaluated in this year’s Zagat Survey. The actual marks Napa Rose earned on a scale of 30: 28 for Food, 25 for Décor and 26 for Service. The Zagat Survey consists of a respected series of guides that annually review thousands of restaurants, resorts and hotels throughout the U.S. and abroad.
