Alamo Rent A Car Promotes Best Rate Guarantee By Launching Alamo.com Family Vacation Sweepstakes
300 Trips to Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort to Be Given Away in Conjunction With Disney's 'Happiest Celebration on Earth'

Alamo Rent A Car has launched the "Alamo.com Family Vacation Sweepstakes," promoting its best rate guarantee for reservations made online at Alamo.com. Consumers can enter to win one of 300 trips to Walt Disney World(R) Resort or Disneyland(R) Resort online at Alamo.com, and also earn four additional entries with each qualified rental with Alamo from February 7 through April 30, 2005.

"Our customers want the best value, and the best rate possible on their Alamo rental car, and we want them to know that when they book through Alamo.com, that's exactly what they'll get, guaranteed," said John MacDonald, Vice President of Marketing for Alamo.

MacDonald said Alamo is backing their best rate guarantee with an additional 10% discount, should a customer find a lower Alamo rate for the same pick-up location, reservation dates, times and car type. "We want our customers focused on having a good time on their trip, not worrying about whether they paid too much for their rental car," he said.

A good time is what Alamo has in mind, too, with the Alamo.com Family Vacation Sweepstakes, which will run from February 7 through April 30, 2005. "We think giving away 300 trips is a great way to celebrate the 2005 family vacation season," said MacDonald. "After all, Alamo is the official rental car of the American vacation."

Each of the 300 packages is for four people, and includes airfare, Disney theme park passes, an Alamo rental car and hotel accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or Disneyland Resort hotel for five days and four nights. Trips will be given away at the rate of 100 per month, giving customers who may not win the first month, the chance to win again the following month. Those who have already entered are automatically entered in to the next month's drawing. Plus, everyone can improve their chances of winning by continuing to earn additional entries with each qualified rental.

Sweepstakes winners bound for Disneyland and Walt Disney World are in for a real treat and a bash extraordinaire. Disney's "Happiest Celebration on Earth" celebrates 50 years of Magic at Disney Parks and Resorts which all began with Disneyland in 1955. The "Happiest Celebration on Earth" begins May 5, 2005 and is so huge it runs 18 months, all the way through 2006, and brings exciting new attractions and events to Disney Parks worldwide.

MacDonald said the milestone Disney year makes the sweepstakes' destinations even more exciting. "When it comes to the ultimate family vacation, Disneyland and Walt Disney World consistently rank among the most popular destinations of choice," he said.
