LPWire: Disney Records Release of Bambi Soundtrack Includes Special Additions

Walt Disney Records Releases "Bambi'' Original Soundtrack and Read-Along CD Features Bonus Interviews with Walt Disney, Henry Mancini and Animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston

"Bambi," the beloved little fawn who won our hearts over 60 years ago, returns on CD and DVD to captivate a whole new generation. Walt Disney Records celebrates the "Bambi" Platinum Special Edition DVD release with the re-release of the original soundtrack and read-along. The "Bambi" Original Soundtrack contains the timeless original music from the animated film, plus bonus archival interviews with Walt Disney, Henry Mancini and animators Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston.

Walt Disney's timeless classic "Bambi" will be released for the first time ever on DVD on March 1, 2005. The Special Edition 2-Disc Platinum DVD features bonus material, including never-before-seen deleted scenes, "inside Walt Disney's story meetings," "the making of," games, activities and much more.

The "Bambi Read-Along" includes a CD and 25-page booklet featuring images from the film that takes little ones through the classic tale of Bambi as he learns about the forest and makes memorable new friends like Thumper, Flower and Faline.
