Today, Tales from the Laughing Place publisher Lee J. MacDonald confirmed that Issue 2 will ship in the middle of April. "All of us at Tales are absolutely delighted with this second issue, which is dedicated to Disneyland's 50th anniversary", Lee said, "We have increased our page count to 46, including a fold-out cover."

Issue 2 contains exclusive images and information from Disneyland, past and present. Articles cover such diverse historical topics as the history of Town Square, the Opera House and the Golden Horseshoe Revue. Tales coverage of the 50th anniversary includes both new parades at Disneyland Resort, namely Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams and Block Party Bash, the new fireworks spectacular Remember....Dreams come True and the re-imagineered Space Mountain that will debut July 15 2005. A highlight is undoubtedly an extensive interview with Randy Thornton about his 6-CD box set, A Musical History of Disneyland. In addition, Issue 2 will feature a thorough article about the new Space Mountain: Mission 2 at Disneyland Resort Paris.

Creative Director Lindsay Cave elaborated on the contents for Issue 2, "We have been very fortunate to receive images from the Disneyland Archives of significant events in Disneyland history. In addition, we are the only publication to be given access to photograph the Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams floats prior to its official launch. Tales was also given unparalleled behind-the-scenes access to Disney Creative Entertainment cast members such as John Addis and Steve Davison, Imagineers like Chrissie Allen and a whole host of others. This issue will be the ultimate resource for any Disney enthusiast for the 50th anniversary celebrations!"

Issue 2 will be available from Laughing Place Store individually for $8.50 plus shipping. Subscribers can expect to receive their issue before month-end. In addition, Publisher Lee J. MacDonald has some further exciting news, "From this issue, the Disneyland Resort will be carrying Tales from the Laughing Place magazine in six retail locations across the Resort. This is a great coup for our team, as it provides us with access to our core target audience, namely Disneyland guests. It is even more satisfying to know that the first issue to go on sale within the Disneyland Resort is almost entirely devoted to the 50th anniversary!"

Finally, Tales are able to offer a sneak peek at Issue 3 that will be launched in July. Creative Director, Lindsay Cave outlined, "Issue 3 will be our first expansive issue on Walt Disney World's participation in the 50th anniversary celebration. In addition, the issue will look forward to future development such as Expedition:Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom."
