Disney Legend Rolly Crump Offers Limited Art Collection Honoring His Mentor Mary Blair
Disney Legend Rolly Crump will be attending Louie Garcia's Disney Fun Fair this Sunday June 26 from 12:00 - 4:00 pm at the Coast Anaheim Hotel (1855 S. Harbor Blvd, Anaheim, CA). As part of the event, Rolly Crump discuss the impact Disney Legend Artist Mary Blair had on his career. In tribute to Mary Blair, Rolly has created "Celebration of ... Mary Blair" a limited collection of artwork inspired by his mentor. Rolly worked along side Mary Blair for the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair attraction and through the transition of “it’s a small world�? to Disneyland in California. His 8 original paintings and 3 paper mache items reflect her artistic stylings as featured in the popular attraction "it's a small world". Rolly will discuss each of these one-of-a-kind paintings which will be made available for purchase at a very reasonable price. Most of the paintings are 18" x 24".

Rolly Crump was associated with Walt Disney Productions for thirty years and has been a part of everyone’s youth in America for five decades. He was responsible for much of what we are familiar with at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Rolly first worked for Disney in animation for Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, and 101 Dalmatians. He then joined WED (now Walt Disney Imagineering) and was asked by Walt to work on illusions for the initial Haunted Mansion project. Rolly’s was assigned the Enchanted Tiki Room, and “it’s a small world�? among other projects. Rolly Crump was named a Disney Legend in 2004.
