Disney Channel's "Camp Rock" First Music Video to be Leveraged Across Multiple Media Platforms April 19
(April 17, 2008) The premiere of the anthemic "We Rock," the
first music video from the highly anticipated Disney Channel Original Movie,
"Camp Rock," will be leveraged across Disney's multiple media platforms the ABC
Television Network, ABC Family, Disney Channel, Disney.com, ESPN Networks, Radio
Disney, SOAPnet and Toon Disney -- and in Disney Parks and Resorts and aboard
the Disney Cruise Line, SATURDAY, APRIL 19, at various times throughout the day.
A celebratory, song and dance-filled Disney Channel Original Movie for kids and
families, "Camp Rock" will premiere on Disney Channel, the ABC Television
Network (as part of the "Wonderful World of Disney" franchise), ABC Family,
Radio Disney and Disney.com, Friday, June 20 through Monday, June 23 in the U.S.
It will also premiere on Family Channel Canada and on Quebec's VRAK.TV (dubbed
in French) on Friday, June 20 and on Disney Channels around the world beginning
in August.
The video features the movie's stars, Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Alyson
Stoner, Meaghan Jette Martin, Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Jasmine Richards,
Roshon Fegan and Jordan Francis.
"Camp Rock" tells the story of a talented yet unsure teen who yearns to share
her songs with the world, and of a tempestuous young superstar who's lost his
passion for music and is sent packing by his band mates. Together, at a camp for
aspiring young music artists, they learn to believe in themselves and to value
the freedom to be who they really want to be.
