Advance Tickets Go on Sale February 6 for Limited Engagement of Disney�s �Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience�
(February 5, 2009) Advance tickets for the limited engagement of Walt Disney Pictures� �Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience� will go on sale starting February 6, just in time for Valentine�s Day gift giving, it was announced today by Chuck Viane, president, distribution, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film blends excerpts from the brothers� red-hot Burning Up concert tour, including guest performances by Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, off-the-wall segments, a brand new song (�Love Is on Its Way�), swarming fans and a lot of JB-style humor�giving fans never-before-seen insights into the lives of Kevin, Joe and Nick.
The 3D rockumentary will be exhibited in state-of-the-art Disney Digital 3D� and will play in theatres across the country. The film is directed by Bruce Hendricks and produced by Art Repola, who previously served in the same capacities on Walt Disney Pictures� �Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert� film and Touchstone Pictures� and ESPN�s �Ultimate X.� Producing with Repola are Johnny Wright, Philip McIntyre, Kevin Jonas Sr. and Alan Sacks. The Jonas Brothers� meteoric rise has been nothing less than a pop culture phenomenon. In August of 2008, the brothers� latest album, �A Little Bit Longer,� debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 during the filming of �Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience� and quickly went platinum. During the same week the album debuted, the soundtrack to �Camp Rock� featuring the Jonas Brothers was at No. 8 on the chart and Jonas Brother�s eponymous CD was at No. 10, marking the first time an artist had held three titles in the top 10 in Sound Scan history.
