Disney Channel's Princess Protection Program Weekend Includes Princess and the Frog Sneak Peek

Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato Host Premiere Weekend of Princess Protection Program Friday, June 26 - Sunday, June 28 Two of the world's most popular teen actresses, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, will host three evenings of television built around the premiere of their Disney Channel Original Movie, "Princess Protection Program," FRIDAY, JUNE 26 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) THROUGH SUNDAY, JUNE 28. The weekend includes a sneak peek at several upcoming events � a one-hour episode of "Hannah Montana;" a triple crossover episode entitled "Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana;" the Disney Channel Original Movie "Wizards of Waverly Place The Movie;" and an exclusive first-look at the highly-anticipated Walt Disney Pictures animated movie, "The Princess and the Frog." DisneyChannel.com users can unlock new episodes of "Wizards of Waverly Place" and "Sonny With A Chance" during the "Princess Password Program" watch-and-unlock weekend event. Film synopsis: Royalty meets reality in "Princess Protection Program," an adventure comedy that tells the story of no-nonsense country girl Carter Mason and Rosalinda Marie Montoya Fiore, the teen princess of the fictitious paradise of Costa Luna. The two are thrown together after Carter�s father, an agent in the covert international Princess Protection Program (PPP), rescues Rosalinda from an attempted coup by a neighboring dictator. Tomboy Carter helps Rosie pose as a visiting cousin and, to return the favor, Rosie nominates Carter for Homecoming Queen. Although they�re polar opposites, Carter and Rosie must also find a way to foil the Costa Luna plot, not to mention the plans of a pair of jealous classmates. SUNDAY, JUNE 28 (7:00 p.m., ET/PT) � This evening's presentation features an exclusive sneak peek of footage from Walt Disney Pictures' "The Princess and the Frog," an animated comedy adventure that provides a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. A new episode of "JONAS," entitled "That Ding You Do," will premiere immediately following the movie. TUESDAY, JUNE 30 � The "Princess Protection Program Royal B.F.F. Extended Edition" will be available on Disney DVD and will feature the exclusive music video "One and the Same," a behind-the-scenes look at the movie with Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, and a free "B.F.F." necklace set.
