Tokyo DisneySea New Attraction Turtle Talk Opening on October 1, 2009

(June 30, 2009) Oriental Land Co., Ltd. announced that Turtle Talk, the new attraction at Tokyo DisneySea® Park, will open on October 1, 2009.  The attraction will be located inside the S.S. Columbia in the themed port of American Waterfront.  To commemorate the opening of this new attraction, special merchandise will be offered at shops in the Park, and other programs will also be available at Ikspiari and the Disney Resort Line.

Turtle Talk: New Attraction at Tokyo DisneySea Park

Turtle Talk is a theater-type attraction where guests can talk and interact with Crush, the sea turtle who appeared in the Disney/Pixar film Finding Nemo.  Guests will be shown into an undersea observatory located inside the stern of the S.S. Columbia.  Beyond the glass window of the observatory, guests will find the undersea world from Finding Nemo come to life.

In this undersea observatory is an innovative device called the Hydrophone, developed by the researchers to enable conversation between humans and our friends under the sea.  It is because of this Hydrophone that guests can now have fun interacting and talking with Crush.  Crush, upon returning from surfing, might ask a guest “where are you from?”  Guests in turn can ask Crush about his life in the sea.  Crush’s friend, Dory, may also happen to pass by.

Turtle Talk promises guests of all ages a “righteous” good time with the witty and playful Crush.
