Italian Beer Dinner at Portobello Restaurant January 7 at WDW Downtown Disney

(December 4, 2009) Join Executive Chef Steven Richard on January 7, 2010, from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, for a one of a kind beer dinner that will heighten your senses! Chef Richard will serve mouth-watering dishes complemented by several hand-crafted Italian beers that are unique and delicious.

Seared Sea Scallops – wood roasted mushrooms and baby greens   

Paired with: Moretti, Undine

 

Ravioli – pasta pillows with veal and a natural reduction   

Paired with: Lazio Re Ale, Borgoros

 

Braised Short Ribs – creamy polenta in red wine sauce   

Paired with: Pausa Café Chicca, Torin

 

Chocolate Panna Cotta - eggless custard with raspberry puree and fresh seasonal berries  

 Paired with: Verdi Imperial Stout, Roncole Verdi di Busset

Portobello restaurant, located at the Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island, 1670 Lake Buena Vista, has recently completed a transformation into an eatery reminiscent of the Italian countryside. The revamped trattoria will offer authentic regional fare and warm rustic décor with a reinvigorated wine list.

Portobello is open daily from 11:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and accepts all major credit cards. Portobello is owned and operated by Levy Restaurants.
