Golden Globe Nominations Announced

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures received 4 Golden Globe Nominations while its ABC programming received 3 and Disney-owned Miramax Films captured 1.

The Walt Disney Studios nominations include two nods in Best Animated Feature for  "Up" and "The Princess and the Frog". Sandra Bullock's performance in "The Proposal" received a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical. Michael Giacchino's work in "Up" was nominated for Best Original Score. "I Want to Come Home" written by Paul McCartney from Miramax Films' "Everybody's Fine" was nominated for Best Original Song - Motion Picture.

ABC's "Modern Family" was nominated for Best TV series - comedy or musical. "Cougar Town" star Courteney Cox was nominated for Best Performance by An Actress in TV Series - Comedy or Musical.  And "Lost" actor Michael Emerson's portrayal of Ben has received a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for TV.
