Michelle has a message from David Mumford along with some other Disney tidbits.

David Mumford asked me to could relay the following message to my wonderful readers, who have been flooding him with messages of love and support:

I have been getting e-mails, cards and letters from everyone and want to let them know how much I appreciate each and every one. Unfortunately, this illness has robbed me of my energy and I am unable to thank everyone personally. I just want to let everyone know that I am getting all their messages and it means so much to me!

David

I'm also forwarding any messages from the LaughingPlace.com message board to his wife, Carole to give to him.

More good news: Apparently, David's redo of Journey Into Your Imagination with Figment is a huge success. The reviews have been astounding!

Spoiler Alert: the train effect is still there, slightly different so it won't scare the little ones as much. Figment is everywhere, and the ride is now about the senses and how they relate to imagination. The ending is...magical.

Thank you, David, Kathy and your excellent team for restoring our beloved Figment to Epcot.

On July 3, there will be a Grand Council for all past and present members of the Disneyland Creative Advisory Council. If you are a past or present member of the Council and did not hear about this, RSVP Cathy Jensen.

Because of everything that's been going on - including moving, ick, I'm let my columns fall by the wayside and I apologize for that. Next week is going to be exciting: the debut of my new fave Disney Animated Chick, KimPossible...and anything else that might turn up.
