The New Journey Into Your Imagination

He is back!!!! In all his purple glory…he is back!!!! I am happy to report that Figment has returned in full force to the Journey into the Imagination attraction at EPCOT. I am also happy to report that this time Disney has hit a homerun. Two years ago Walt Disney World opened a completely new Imagination ride based on the Imagination Institute.

Unfortunately that rethinking did not seem to make the guests happy and Disney decided to reintroduce Figment back into the attraction while still keeping the Imagination Institute themeing.

The queue area of the attraction remain virtually intact as are the ride vehicles. From the load area you move into a room with four screens where Nigel Channing explains that the Imagination Institute is going to test your imagination senses. Figment shows up to the dismay of Dr Channing who tells him not to interfere with the experiments.
