Dave experiences a Veterday's Day at Disneyland.
Veteran's Day 2004
Disneyland celebrated Veteran's Day Thursday with a special flag retreat ceremony. It was a cool, but very crowded day in the middle of the week. Beforehand two high school bands marched through the park.
This was followed by a march of the Color Guard, one from each branch of the Armed Services. Behind them marched Disneyland Cast Members who are currently enlisted, or in the Reserves, or have served in the US Armed Forces. Some were in costume, some in uniform. They were met with heartfelt applause from the audience.
