This Disneyland Update includes new items from all over the resort including a Mission to Mars addition in Tomorrowland and some fun new signage at the hotels. Of course lots of new merchandise and construction pictures are included as well.

Rehabs and Upcoming
Attractions currently or soon closed for refurbishment include:

• Tomorrowland Train Station - Currently closed. Reopens March 18th (the Disneyland Railroad is open, it just doesn't stop in Tomorrowland)
• Tom Sawyer Island - Currently closed. Reopens March 23rd.
• Sailing Ship Columbia - Currently closed. Reopens March 23rd
• Matterhorn Bobsleds - Currently closed. Reopens April 7th
• Fantasmic! - Currently closed. Reopens April 14th
• Autopia - Currently closed. Reopens with a new sponsor late June.

Upcoming Events

• The DCA Preview Center is scheduled to close March 19th.
• The Spring Sculpture Event will take place on March 18th with the release of Walt Disney Classics Collection's Bambi.
• The "Believe ... There's Magic in the Stars" fireworks show begins nightly performances on April 14th (currently it's only on Friday and Saturday nights).
• Pirates of the Caribbean Special Event tentatively scheduled for April 29th. Details have yet to be released.

2000th Indy Ride
On March 6th Disneyland guest Gwen Reimann was honored in a ceremony prior to park opening for her 2,000th ride on Indiana Jones Adventure.

Mission to Mars
Part of the American Space Experience in Tomorrowland has been taken over to display props and promotion for Touchstone's Mission To Mars.
