Report: Downtown Disney Opening Event - Part 2

On the night of January 11th the Downtown Disney District at the The Disneyland Resort was officially opened with a charity event for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation complete with a red carpet of celebrities, samples from the Downtown Disney merchants and, of course, the Downtown Disney opening ceremony. It was a huge party! This article will take you through the event with words, pictures, audio and video. Also included is coverage of the grand opening at the AMC 12 Theatres on January 12th.
While waiting for the ceremonies to begin guests were entertained with live music in front of the AMC-12 Theatres and Xtreme skateboarding by ESPNZone.
