Well, thank you Harlan and welcome everyone. Welcome to Innoventions. When Walt Disney first imagined a place where families could come together and spend, time one of his key ingredients was education. He believed that there was tremendous entertainment to be found in the discovery of knowledge. He also stated on more than one occasion that Disneyland would never be complete as long as there is imagination left in the world. I’m here to tell you today that there is plenty of imagination left and its right here in Innoventions.

We opened this attraction in 1998 with the goal of being able to showcase the latest technology -  technologies that as they continue to evolve will make our jobs easier, make our body healthier, and our lives richer. And since modern technology is always progressing, Innoventions always will be evolving and revolving to keep up with those changes.

Well today we are very pleased to introduce our newest partner to this endeavor, a worldwide leader in pushing that technology envelope. And please join me in welcoming the President and CEO of Pioneer North America, Mr. Kaz Yamamoto.

Thank you Cynthia. Pioneer was very excited when Disney approached us to be a part of the Innoventions exhibit. It offers Pioneer an opportunity to showcase our digital entertainment products in a truly unique setting. When the creating groups from Disney and Pioneer got together they immediately agreed on two rules. First, this display should be more than typical living room with a great home theater system. Second, it should be interactive to allow guests to touch and feel Pioneer’s digital entertainment products. As you will see we have achieved both of those goals with the Virtual Resort presented by Pioneer. We are proud to join Disneyland in creating the ultimate virtual vacation for high tech savvy travelers.
