This update takes a look back at a busy summer at the Disneyland Resort. Included is tons of video of DCA's summer atmosphere entertainment and the Fourth of July fireworks. Recent happenings around the resort are also included in this 52 page update feature more than 200 pictures and 12 videos.

Welcome to the September 3, 2001 Disneyland Resort Update. It's been quite a while (more than 2 months) since our last Disneyland Update, so we decided to do something a little different this time. In this update we take a look back at summer time at the Disneyland Resort. Included are lots of pictures and video of some of this shows and attractions that have debuted in the past three months along with the regular updates you're used to finding in a Disneyland Resort Update.

Upcoming Events and Special Notes

  • Disney has announed the Country Bear Playhouse will have its final performance on September 9th. Click here for the press release.
  • Disney has also announced Who Wants To Be a Millionaire - Play It! will officially open on September 14th. Soft opens are already occuring daily. Read more on the attraction in this update.
  • Disneyland has announced the Haunted Mansion will be transformed into Haunted Mansion Holiday starting October 5th and lasting throughout the holiday season. The transformation will include tie-ins to Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. Click here for details.
