Report: Walt Disney World Kicks Off It's 100 Years of Magic Celebration

At 9:30 a.m. on October 1st, a ceremony was held at the Magic Kingdom to officially being the 100 Years of Magic celebration. Featured were Walt Disney World President Al Weiss, a large cast of Disney characters and the unveiling of the 100 Years of Magic Topiary at the Magic Kingdom's entrance.

Then the Walter Elias Disney engine brought in a ton of Disney characters.

Then a young child's voice announces the beginning of the ceremony.
Young Child Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, boy and girls, please welcome the President of the Walt Disney World Resort, Al Weiss.
Weiss waves to the gathered crowd as he approaches the podium. Minnie, Daisy and Goofy stand alongside him.
