Preview of Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular
Page 1 of 8
Disney's Aladdin - A Musical Spectacular had its first two public performances (for Cast Members and their guests) at Disney's California Adventure on November 26th. Below are a few pictures from the second performance to give you an idea of what to expect from DCA's next major addition. This performance was called a Dress Rehearsal, so obviously everything is subject to change before daily performances begin on December 9th (regular soft opening performances will be starting as soon as today). The approximately 40 minute performance we viewed closely followed the plot of the film. The only major characters missing were Abu (Aladdin's monkey) and Raja (Jasmine's tiger). All the songs from the film were performed - Arabian Nights, One Jump Ahead, A Friend Like Me, Prince Ali and A Whole New World - as well as new song performed by Jasmine called To Be Free which was written by Alan Menkin.
