By sheer luck we happened to catch a soft opening demonstration of Lucky the Dinosaur - the first standalone, walking Audio-Animatronic - at Disney's California Adventure on August 20th.
We have two video clips of Lucky in action. Both clips are 16 seconds long. They are available in QuickTime format and MPG format. The QuickTime is a little bit better quality. Nether clip as audio.

A 'show' is put on the the man talking to Lucky and Lucky responding with sounds (not words). They are supposed to walk from Hollywood and Dine down Hollywood. Unfortuantely, in this test, he didn't make it all the way.

But it was still quite a sight. Lucky doesn't have a schedule as of yet and we don't know if/when other soft openings will be occuring or if/when regular sightings will begin.
