Snow White: An Enchanting New Place to Eat!

If you are like certain friends of mine, you know that a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth™ is really all about the food. And the new menu back at that little place next to the Fantasyland Theater is so good that Disneyland has added a stage show to entertain the diners. Formerly Troubadour Treats, The Enchanted Cottage Sweets and Treats has a menu inspired by the Bavarian setting of Snow White.

The treats start with that most typical German menu item, sausage. A choice of Bratwurst or Knockwurst is offered, in a soft roll smothered in your choice of sautéed peppers and onions or sauerkraut. Best of all, you can season these with a sweet hot honey mustard, or regular mustard if that’s too spicy. The sausage items are accompanied by chips.

Of course, there’s nothing more German than a big soft pretzel, warm from the oven and brushed with rock salt. The cheese dip for this item is, somewhat mysteriously, spiced with jalapeno.
