Snow White: An Enchanting New Place to Eat!
If you are like certain friends of mine, you know that a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth(tm) is really all about the food. And the new menu back at that little place next to the Fantasyland Theater is so good that Disneyland has added a stage show to entertain the diners. Formerly Troubadour Treats, The Enchanted Cottage Sweets and Treats has a menu inspired by the Bavarian setting of Snow White.
The treats start with that most typical German menu item, sausage. A choice of Bratwurst or Knockwurst is offered, in a soft roll smothered in your choice of sauteed peppers and onions or sauerkraut. Best of all, you can season these with a sweet hot honey mustard, or regular mustard if that's too spicy. The sausage items are accompanied by chips.
Of course, there's nothing more German than a big soft pretzel, warm from the oven and brushed with rock salt. The cheese dip for this item is, somewhat mysteriously, spiced with jalapeno.
