The light rain that was falling on Friday morning, March 4, failed to dampen the spirits of the guests arriving at Disney's California Adventure for President Matt Ouimet's "State of the Resort" presentation. Gathered in the lobby of the Animation Building were local elected officials, community leaders, company executives, cast members, and other guests. Inside, the mood was upbeat. Displays chronicling Disneyland's fifty years in the community lined the outer walls. Greetings were exchanged with the 50th Birthday Ambassadors. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible were available to pose for complimentary photos. And of course, Mickey, Minnie and Pluto were on hand as well, dressed in their "birthday suits" (sparkling new costumes for Disneyland's big event).
