El Capitan Theatre Presents 12 Days of Nightmare

The historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood again presents Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas for a limited Halloween run. The film opened October 20, and runs through October 31. The theater is offering a special 12 Days of Nightmare promotion. Each night, a different commemorative character button will be given to each patron. Those attending all twelve days will receive a 13th bonus button free.

In addition to the feature, guests at the El Capitan will also be treated to the short subjects Frankenweenie and Vincent. Live organ music was provided on opening night by Rob Richards, Organist of the Year for the American Theater Organist Society. There was also a special showing of Nightmare director Henry Selick’s first all CGI short, Moon Girl.
