A new touring exhibit devoted to exploring and examining the role music has played in the success of the Walt Disney Company is making its only stop in California through May 10. Now showing at the Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology in Hemet, the exhibit was organized by the Experience Music Project of Seattle. The Walt Disney Company has provided unprecedented access into their archives and talent pool to create this celebration, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Walt Disney Records.

Exhibits include early studio sound effects devices and costume worn in
Broadways Beauty and the Beast.
While the scale of this touring exhibit is small, there is much content to entice the Disney fan. Artifacts have been drawn from Disney animation, live action films, television, theme parks, records, and Broadway musicals.
