‘The Terrace’ Experience Adds New Pizzazz To Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Oct. 20-Nov. 18
A new World Showcase destination, The Terrace, adds dining and entertaining panache to the sixth annual Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Oct. 20-Nov. 18. Located between the Morocco and France pavilions, The Terrace features an alfresco setting for the Lifestyles Experience, where daily presenters discuss their culinary and entertaining passions ranging from healthful cooking with olive oils to setting the table for the holidays.
Guests can sip wines or shop for them in The Terrace’s open-air wine and merchandise shop. Artisans will work at easels nearby. And against a scaled kitchen backdrop, presenters such as nationally known nutritionist and author Pam Smith will share insider tips and stories with guests in an interactive setting.
Topics will include Starting Your Own Wine Cellar, Entertaining at Home, Olive Oils: Healthy Ways to Cook and Setting the Table for the Holidays. Harried home chefs who have little time to cook a good family meal can discover how to speed up dinner preparation with a well-stocked pantry. Cooks who’d like to trim fat from meals will learn how to add flavor while lightening up a recipe. Lifestyles Experience guests will find that some “Holiday Survival Tips” are the key to quashing the yearly holiday blues.
Geared toward “living the good life,” the Lifestyles Experience on The Terrace will divulge dining and entertaining secrets while providing a relaxing atmosphere for festival goers. The daily presentations are included in the general Epcot admission. Culinary demonstrations by Disney chefs and celebrity chefs also will be scheduled at The Terrace.
