Lenox has an increasing Disney line - to the delight of Sorcerer Mickey collectors everywhere - and the figurine collectors have fallen in love with the quality of product being released. This was a spectacular piece, with hand-applied gold leaf on the trellis and the arch over Snow White and the Prince. All the figurines in this item are #7's and each was hand-signed by Lenox's Director of Design, Siobhan Pendergast.

Another original one-of-a-kind oil-and-acrylic painting on canvas, painted especially to commemorate the theme of the 2001 Official Disneyana Convention, artist Susan Nardine Pratt created a whimsical "A Disney Family Reunion". Her limited edition Mickey ornaments have a huge following with their sparse, almost comic book-like style and simple coloring.

lot #13 Dopey Tile Tray

Two of the most famous characters at the Disney Studios came together in this piece - Ollie Johnston and Dopey. Ollie actually drew the artwork for this tray in the 1930s and it’s hand-signed by him. Ollie also acted as the color stylist for this item titled "And You Must Be Dopey." Again the value of a one-of-a-kind, hand crafted, hand-signed piece can not be balanced in the marketplace.

lot #14 Disney Story Book Art Cel from 1937

Hand-painted production cels are rare and classic production cells are even more so. This piece was created by the Walt Disney Studio in 1937 when the Studios were busy creating both Disney films and storybook art. Due to the fragile nature of the production process very few cels of this generation have survived to the present day.
