Oh - yeah - one last thing - OK - I was so busy trading and gossiping and playing and working and enjoying myself that I didn’t fill out my survey - so - here goes…

1) How would you rate your Pin Trading Night experience?
Excellent - sure I missed a few things, and, yes, it was either too crowded and too hot or too dark and too cold - and there wasn’t a pin cart for me to shop at - but the time I spent playing with pin friends - old and new - more than made up for anything that was missing. I had a ball!

2) How frequently would you like to see Pin Trading Nights occur?
I think that the DLR can easily support once a month in the off-season and twice a month during the holidays and in the summertime. I’ll be sure to make as many as my schedule permits - it really did get me back in touch with the reason I started pin trading in the first place - the people.

3) Would you prefer that the Pin Trading Nights…
Rotate between Resort Hotels - it’ll make it more difficult to advertise as most people tend to be creatures of habit and get comfortable in one place - but the DLR has three very nice hotels and each has something unique to offer. It would be fun to visit each.

4) How did you hear about the Pin Trading Night?
Internet - I think that I read it on Dizpins first - maybe ODPT.com I can’t remember.

5) How many guests did you bring to the Pin Trading Night?
One - I brought my sister Karen, who had a ball trading out of MY bag and off of MY lanyard. I thought that she’d be bored out of her mind, but there were enough of our friends there that she spent the evening gabbing while I traded and played and worked. She’ll come to the next one - absolutely.

6) Would you attend another Pin Trading Night?
Yes - abso-frickin-lutely. If only to catch up with friends and enjoy an evening of trading and fun.

The anxious traders stood quietly in line before the event was scheduled to begin. Some were in line 45 minutes before the doors opened.

The first "Official" DLR Pin Trading Night was held in the Disneyland Hotel's Garden Room. While the venue was too much too small for the crowd, it was a good choice for the premiere event. Hopefully future events can be schedules into larger rooms.

Upon entering traders were handed a flyer with the event schedule and a description of the "Trade-A-Pin" game guidelines.
