Character sketches were often accompanied by animation studies to give the engineers an idea of the way the characters would move. The piece in the center is - The Arsenal - a wonderfully detailed diazo print done by Marc Davis in 1964. This concept was completed when the decision was made to make the attraction a boat ride and not a walk-through.

Marc Davis' character and animation studies, done in the early 1960's, are so vivid that it's little wonder that full-blown Audio-Animatronics figures of so many of his renderings reside in the attraction.
