Now for those of you not able to attend, here are some minor things and rumors that we are hearing here in Florida.

In April, Primeval Whirl will open to the public at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This side by side coaster will have spinning cars that are themed as time machines. With Easter being at the end of March though, don’t be surprised if this attraction previews during spring break.

"Journey Into Imagination with Figment" is the official name of the ride portion of the Imagination Pavilion at Disney’s EPCOT. Figment is to play a major part of the rehab but we are also hearing that portions of the Journey Into Your Imagination attraction remain in some form or another.

Construction is continuing at Disney’s Beach Club Villas with a fall opening scheduled. Part of the Disney Vacation Club Resort, the villas will combine styles of seaside homes in the Cape May, New Jersey region.

There is no official opening date for Disney’s POP Century Resort. Work has been slowed down on construction, all operations managers that were preparing for the opening of the resort have been reassigned until further notice. The earliest possible opening for this resort seems to be late summer or early fall.

Mission:Space - Though officially the attraction is scheduled to open in early 2003, don’t be surprised if this attraction is doing guest previews over the 2002 Christmas holiday. Disney is working hard to have it ready for then. We are hearing 4 carousels that have 8 vehicles that sit 4 people each will be the ride system and it is going to be a stomach turner. There will be a large post show area with hands on exhibits.

Now is the time for those of you who are runners to think about running the 2003 Disney Marathon and Half Marathon. This year 18,500 people ran the two races and there was a waiting list of people who wanted to run it. Registration fills up very quickly. For more information check out www.disneysports.com for registration information.

Well that’s about if for the updates. Don’t forget to let us know if you want to test your EPCOT knowledge on March 17. And I will see you at the Parks.
