Pat Woertz: Thank you Mickey and thank you Cynthia. That car is a real rush. It's really a thrill to be one of the first people to drive one of the Autopia cars and I can tell you it's going to be a lot of fun for all the new drivers out there. Well good afternoon and welcome to our celebration of the partnership between Chevron and Disney today.  It's a beautiful day to be out here to do this. Chevron has always believed in customer satisfaction and customer focus and that's one of the reasons for the real excitement about this partnership with Disneyland, and opening it here today at the Happiest Place on Earth. We not only share some of the same customers - Chevron and Disneyland - across California and across the Western states and the country, but we share a value about good value and high quality for our products and services.

Disneyland and Chevron have great brands individually and I believe we can be stronger together. We're here today to thank all of you because hundreds of people from both of our companies have worked very hard on this Autopia attraction, and I want to thank you for that hard work and cooperation. The real payoff though comes on the faces - on the smiles of the faces - of all the new drivers, especially the kids. And I thought today would be a great opportunity, a great venue, to celebrate kids. I mean after all, at Disneyland kids come first.

The grandstands (left) were filled with Chevron employees and their guests as well as Disney employees and their guests including Bob Gurr (right), the creator of the original Autopia cars.

And there's someone we'd like to recognize today that in this community has really put kids first. It's a remarkable woman who has created an opportunity for kids here in this neighborhood. She created it in her garage for a non-profit after school program to help disadvantaged kids stay in school. She taught them herself. She tutored them. She became their mentor and she impressed upon them the value of staying in school as opposed to doing other things like getting involved with gangs or other activities. We'd like to recognize this person today. She's helped by bringing many of her students - many of the kids - here to help with the Autopia grand opening. Her work has really paid off. In ten years there are four locations here in the Orange County area and over 200 kids are served by her wonderful work. This is someone who recognizes the value of education and the value of it to the future of these young people. And who knows, some of these people may work for our companies in the future. Maybe they'll help rebuild an Autopia someday or work on the design of Chevron toy cars or run our companies, really be the visionaries of the future. So I'd like to acknowledge and recognize this individual and I hope she's here today. The founder of Rosie's Garage, Rosie Espinosa.
