Animal Kingdom - Page 1
Disney has announced a new area of Animal Kingdom's Dinoland called Chester & Hester's
Dino-Rama! The first phase of this will open in December 2001 and feature a midway with
dinosaur-themed carnival games and a new attraction - Trceratop Spin - that will have a
similar ride system to The Magic Carpets of Aladdin mentioned earlier in this update.
Phase 2 is scheduled to open in 2002 and will feature Primeval Whirl, a 50-ft tall coaster with free-spinning vehicles. Dinosaur characters will pop up along the track. Click here for the press release.

The whole area once known as Conservation Station has been renamed Rafiki's Planet Watch. The building itself is now known as Conservation Station and the petting zoo is Affection Section. New themeing and characters have been added to the area to go with the change which we'll have pictures of in a future update.
