Disney Cruise Line Caribbean Cruise - Part 2

We returned to Deck 9 to see the children cheerily splashing away in the Mickey Pool, with their weary parents sprawled on neighbouring loungers, presumably praying for exhaustion amongst their offspring. We walked around the deck, mainly people-watching and scanning the horizon for a sign of life. However, we had already departed American waters for the coast of Cuba. Next, we visited the retail complex, which was hosting a Key West After Sunset Celebration. Here, a delightful Canadian cast member called Serena managed to convince me to part with $1 in exchange for a "temporary" Mickey head tattoo, streaked with the Stars & Stripes. Rather appropriately, the tattoo lasted until our final morning, when it finally disappeared down the shower drain. Other cast members were creating personalised jewelry for guests, such as necklaces, bracelets and keychains. Treasure Ketch, the upscale adult store debuted an exclusive Key West tee shirt (featuring a not-too-Hidden Mickey), as worn by the retail cast.

We decided to retire at a reasonable hour, relishing the opportunity to explore the ship properly on Monday, our first day entirely at sea. Other guests were enjoying the live entertainment in the Beat Street nightclub complex until 2am, but we decided to save this experience for another day.
