Talking about Barry's homerun in game 1, Jarrod Washburn said he'd rather give up a homerun that went 700 ft then one then 320 ft. When asked about off-season plans, Jarrod said he would watch the Packers each Sunday and do some fishing.

Mike Scoscia called the Angels' past season "the best baseball I've ever seen a ballclub play" He explained that they didn't need a superstar, everyone pulled for each other and they won because they were simply the best ballclub.
