Gary Thomas: Thanks, Matt. You know its great to be here amongst Disney and our friends at California Adventure this afternoon. As you know the Rose Bowl has pretty amazing history. Does anybody know which came first the game or the parade? And you from the Tournament dont answer. Actually it was the parade in 1890. And then twelve years later we decided to add a little fun and have a little adventure down in the Tournament Park near Cal Tech so we added a football game. In 1923 we opened the Rose Bowl and well as they say I guess the rest is history. So, today football fans all around the world when the year begins and the Bowl season starts theres a fresh sense of anticipation as we watch to see who the talent will be and emerge to play in those Bowls. This year well be watching some terrific football when the Washington State Cougars and the Oklahoma Sooners meet in the 89th Rose Bowl game in Pasadena, California on New Years Day. Now Im going to turn things back to Matt and hell introduce a few truly outstanding coaches, Matt.
Ebeling: Now the first gentleman Id like to introduce you to has enjoyed a 20-year relationship with Washington State University as a player, assistant coach and head coach as the Cougars. They come to the Rose Bowl this year ranked 6th in the BCS poll and are the Pacific Ten College Champions with a 7 - 1 record. Ladies and gentleman please welcome the head coach who has been responsible for leading the Cougars to where they are today, Mike Price.

Bill Doba: Thanks, Mike. Let me get on with this program. I want to introduce I know Mike said he lead us this way but the people that really got us here. First of all our quarterback three-time captain Jason Gesser. He got a new camera for Christmas.
Secondly, all American and our starting and all conference corner Marcus Trufant from Tacoma.
Third, our defensive tackle from Anacortes, Washington, a little bitty town up north, our Outland trophy winner, the first Outland trophy for Washington State Rien Long. Dont look at the back of his jersey we have another player with the number 88 named Harvey. He gets no respect poor Rien.
