Ebeling: Thanks, Mike and Bill. Its great to have you both here today. I really appreciate it. And now let’s me our other coach. He’s lead his team to our ranking of number 7 in the BCS poll. They’re the Big Twelve Conference Champions with a 6 - 2 record and what’s more they played 35 previous Bowl games. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the head coach for the University of Oklahoma Sooners, Bob Stoops.

Bob Stoops: Thank you. It’s great to be here. We’re awfully excited to be representing the Big Twelve conference out here in the Rose Bowl. It’s a pleasure to compete against a great team like Washington State. Congratulations to them for an outstanding year and being Pac 10 Champions that’s a great accomplishment. I’m very proud of our rich tradition and history in Oklahoma of seven national championships and currently being the Big 12 Champions. But we’re proud to be out here in the rose Bowl, our conference doesn’t get much opportunity to be out here and we do respect the great traditions and history of this Bowl game. It’s been such a part of our country for such a long time and we’re just really proud to be out here representing the Big 12 conference. The reason we’re here is because of these players. I’ll start by introducing them. Whose standing first? Is that Andre?
Andre Woolfolk our starting cornerback, wide corner out of Colorado and senior captain.
Next, is our outstanding running back all American Quenten Griffin out of Houston, Texas. He rushed for over 1700 yards this year.
Next, is Nate Hibble out of Georgia our starting quarterback for the last two years. Also a senior captain.
Next is a junior captain, all American and Butkis runner-up Teddy Lehman, middle linebacker for us.

Next we have Trent Smith, our starting tight end. All conference, all American tight end Trent Smith.
And last, also a junior captain started the year off as our starting quarterback, Jason White.

Ebeling: Thank you so much. As you can see with this gorgeous weather and this busy day, it is the perfect day to be celebrating the Rose Bowl here at Disney’s California Adventure. And here to commemorate the arrival of our two outstanding teams here, the President of the Disneyland Resort Cynthia Harriss along with everyone’s great friend, Mickey Mouse.
