All of the park's offerings were tailored towards the theme, with Chinese acrobats, martial arts demonstrations, a celebratory parade featuring a giant dragon and character meet-and-greets. Guests could participate in interactive workshops involving face-painting, hand massages, origami, calligraphy and rice engraving! The evening concluded with the first fireworks display inside the Walt Disney Studios park since the Gala Opening Evening on March 16 2002 to invited guests and members of the media.

Even the Disney Village joined in with the festivities, with performers showcasing their skills throughout the night on the central stage. Unfortunately, the events were not well attended, especially with most of northern Europe experiencing a cold snap that including snow.
