Announcer: Ladies and gentleman., please welcome, from the city of Anaheim, the dedicated profesionals who serve in the Anaheim fire department. Ladies and gentleman, please welcome the steadfast team from our very own Disneyland Resort fire department. And now, representing the thousands of men and women who serve with the emergency service organizations through the great state of California, please welcome from the California Office of Emergency services, the chief of the Governor's Office of Emergency Services Fire and Rescue branch, Jim Sagoris. From the California Fire Chiefs Association, their dedicated President-Elect and current Fire Chief of the City of Corona, Michael Warren. From the California State Firefighters Association, their President Jeff Sedivec. Representing the California Professional Firefighters Association, please welcome the Vice President of the Orange County Professional Firefighters, John Latta. From the Peace Officers Research Association of California, the Director of of the Orange County chapter, Russ Reinhardt. From the Anaheim Fire Department, Fire Chief Roger Smith. And from the Disneyland Resort Fire Department, Fire Chief Lon Cahill.

Matt: Wow. These incredible individuals you see up here today represent thousands of dedicated men and women all over our state, each of whom serves as a beacon of hope not only for Californians but for all Americans. Each of them truly personifies the spirit of hope, the character of compassion and the fundamental qualities of what it means to be an American. Every day citizens working together to help others in need. These are especially important characteristics that we all strive to emulate during the holiday season. And all of us here tonight are honored to have some of these fearless heroes with us. We are proud to salute all of you and all of those you represent for going far above and beyond the call of duty in service to your fellow man. Your gift to us this holiday season is hope. And hope is the most valuable gift of all.
