There were tables where kids could make craft ghosts and tiny cardboard haunted mansions. Ghostly streetmosphere performers wondered around juggling, riding old fashioned bicycles and playing games with the kids. There were kiosks where you could have your photo taken and then morph it into something ghastly.

Then I stumbled across one of my favorite things about this exhibit: The Haunted Mansion Hollywood Scrapbook. There are eight locations scattered throughout the tent where you can have your digital picture taken. You give them your name and e-mail address and they send you a link to their scrapbook site. After you leave, you can go to the web site to download your photos. You can also download a scrapbook of interesting facts about the movie, which includes your photos. It's very cool and is included with the price of admission.

By the exit to the tent they had a shop set up. But as yet, there wasn't any merchandise in it. I was told it would contain mostly magic tricks and a couple of books about the movie.
On the whole, Haunted Mansion Hollywood is a don't miss experience. If you live anywhere in the Southern California area, you would be batty to see the Haunted Mansion movie anywhere else.
