Making his debut on November 18, 1928, Mickey Mouse was later joined by pals Donald and Goofy. They show the Art of Friendship, not only for each other, but for all their fans around the world as well. As the singers performed "Together With Mickey Mouse," Wendt said, "We saw how true friends can stay together through the years."

The music shifted to the familiar strains of "When You Wish Upon a Star" as Wendt moved on to Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket. He described Jiminy as a tiny friend with a big influence. No matter who you are, he said, the true Art of Friendship is in helping one another, and being available when friends "give a little whistle."

"Little April Shower" was the theme as Wendt spoke of a selfish little bunny who became a friend to the young Prince of the Forest. Together, Thumper and Bambi discovered the world, and learned, among other things, that a flower can also be a skunk!

As the final stamp in the set was described, "Hakuna Matata" segued into "The Circle of Life." "The Lion King's" Mufasa was both Father and friend to young Simba. Friends can both encourage and teach, providing a valuable role model.
