Also the Pirates Snowglobe with LE Pin & Artist's Notes - for $99.95. The hand painted globe features a rather ghostly ghost ship in the tentacles of a giant octopus, the base features images of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will and Elizabeth. The first 500 shipped will include an enamel cloissone pin and artist's notes detailing the making of the globe - the item plays Yo Ho (what else?)

Four of the pieces from the Song of the South 60th Anniversary Collection were there - for a film that, given Bob Iger's latest comments, we're likely never to see again, these items got a lot of attention. The Song of the South Musical Jewelry Box, for $49.95 features four enamel cloisonne pins - Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, Brer Fox and Bluebird - and plays Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah - the sepia art work on the top is from the film's opening credits. The box is 2 ¾ inches high, 6 inches wide and 4 inches deep and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Out of the several new items to join the Alice in Wonderland array - this whimsical one is among my favorites - the LE 1,000 Alice In Wonderland Miniature Franz Porcelain Tea Set, at $69.95, is right out of one of my favorite scenes - the mad tea party - and Jody's designs of the demented service has never looked better. The set includes the very teapots, cups, saucers, sugar bowl and spoon which appeared in the scene. The presentation box is likewise wonderful, featuring concept art by Disney Legend Mary Blair. The set is a Limited Edition of 1,000 and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Kind of a mixed bag - pardon the pun - of items from the Mary Poppins and Mary Blair Woven Pillow collections - the Mary Poppins Articulated Umbrella Replica, in the foreground, at $99.95 - the Mary Poppins Carpet Bag, at $84.95 - the Mary Poppins Penguin Big Fig, at $150.00 and the spectacular LE 1000 Mary Poppins Tapestry, at $179.00, in the background - I love this stuff and will shop when it becomes available on September 6th.

You can also see the Mary Blair Peter Pan Woven Pillow. Along with the Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland pieces - each 17-inch square, woven polyester pillow sells for $49.95 - they make a wonderful accent to any room.

These very cool, and very heavy, Jack and Sally accent lights each sells for $59.95 and will be available on September 29th. Oh, yeah, there were some very cool show specials going on during the show & sale too!

Jody's Disney Arts and Crafts Collection took one small podium to display and stole a large part of my heart in the process. The LE 750 Disney Arts & Crafts Table Lamp (Pinocchio) at $229.00 - the LE 500 Snow White Stained Glass Panel at $159.00 - the LE 500 3-Tile Bambi Ceramic Tile Wall Hanging at $99.95 and the LE 1,000 Bambi Arts & Crafts Trinket Box at $39.95 are all inspired uses of classic Disney properties set in an old-world design. Jody quite outdid himself with these. The collection is available on September 22nd.
