I believe it is now time for all the direct-to-video sequel naysayers to find something else to complain about With lush animation, an original yet respectful story and gorgeous music, this II can rightfully sit on your video shelf next to the original masterpiece.

Another fine job on Leonard Maltins part, collecting vintage episodes of the seminal Disney anthology series, this time focusing on Walt the showman. High point: Maltins new, candid interview with Walts daughter, Diane Disney Miller.

In a year brimming with inspirational sport movies (Glory Road, Invincible), the best was this mostly overlooked spirit-raiser, anchored by a stand-out performance from newcomer Kuno Becker. Didnt see it? Add it to your Netflix queue now!
