Free culinary demonstrations, a popular feature last year, are more than doubled this year. Guests are not only invited to join in on the fun, they will sample the chef’s creation at the conclusion of each demonstration.

The Terrace Demonstration Kitchen above the Winery patio has returned. Events are scheduled daily from 11 to 4. Returning favorites are joined by new demonstrations, including Delightful Desserts, Oh So Risotto, Magnificent Mushrooms, A Trip to the Farmer’s Market, Get to Know Gnocchi, and Sweet Sundays. There are also visits by Downtown Disney chefs from Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, House of Blues, Tortilla Joes, Catal Restaurant, ESPN Zone, Naples Ristorante, La Brea Bakery, and Rainforest Café.

New this year is the Pacific Wharf Demonstration Kitchen. Free events are offered there as late as 6pm on most days of the festival. All demonstrations are offered on a first come, first served basis. Seminars cover a range of topics, including Amazing Asparagus, Southern Spices, Cooking with Port, From the Produce Aisle, Sweet and Savory Crepes, and Fire it Up: Chipotle.
