Tony Baxter addressed the crowd, gathered in the streets of New Orleans Square for the event. He spoke of the Disney Gallery, Tomorrowland, and the new exhibit celebrating 43 years of looking at the future.

At the conclusion of his remarks, John Hench, joined by Mickey Mouse entered from the Gallery, and did the actual ribbon cutting, marking the official opening of "Looking at the Future-Tomorrowland: 1955-1998.�
