Two new deleted scenes (the expressionistic Two Leaves and the comic Bambi Stuck on a Reed) are also viewable separately, as is the deleted song Twitterpated (audio only), an up-tempo novelty song vastly different in style from the other songs in the final film. Interactive image galleries (like on last yearsFantasiaBlu-rays) are also included, as is a brief introduction to the film provided by Diane Disney Miller (Walts daughter) filmed at the Walt Disney Family Museum in San Francisco.

The sole Family Play feature (and the final new bonus) is the interactive Disneys Big Book of Knowledge:BambiEdition activity. Friend Owl narrates stories from the forest and instructs you on how to compete for virtual stickers in a selection of games. Once completed, users can then create their own pictures using the stickers they have earned.

Filling out the rest of the disc is a selection of Classic DVD Bonus Features, including two more deleted scenes, the 52-minute Making ofBambi documentary, the original theatrical trailer and a bonus short, the Oscar-winningThe Old Mill.

Toon Talk Rating: B+
