Tokyo DisneySea New Attraction Turtle Talk Opening on October 1, 2009 - (DL) (7/1/2009)

Oriental Land Co., Ltd. announced that Turtle Talk, the new attraction at Tokyo DisneySea® Park, will open on October 1, 2009.  The attraction will be located inside the S.S. Columbia in the themed port of American Waterfront.  To commemorate the opening of this new attraction, special merchandise will be offered at shops in the Park, and other programs will also be available at Ikspiari and the Disney Resort Line.

Disney Interactive Studios and Disney Press Announce New Novels Based on the Popular Spectrobes Video Game Franchise - (DL) (6/30/2009)

Disney Press will publish the new middle-grade series based on Disney Interactive Studios' best-selling Spectrobes videogames. The sci-fi story of two planetary officers and the mysterious Spectrobes creatures will be told through these original junior novels in addition to the upcoming Wii™ game. Disney Interactive Studios and Disney Press today announced that four Spectrobes junior novels will be available in North America this year.

Mitchel Musso Announces Summer 2009 Tour Dates - (DL) (6/30/2009)

Mitchel Musso, from the Disney Channel hit series “Hannah Montana”, recently released his Walt Disney Records self-titled solo album on June 2 which debuted at #19 on Billboard’s 200 chart. The album also hit #2 on the iTunes Pop chart (second only to Lady Gaga) and #5 on iTunes Album chart on the very first day of release. The album debuted at #11 on Billboard’s Digital album chart with over 50,000 digital downloads. Mitchel Musso will be hitting the road this summer with his older brother Mason and his band Metro Station, as well as launching his own headline tour with Live Nation and House of Blues

The recently installed figure of the country’s 44th chief executive – which comes to life with recognizable mannerisms and makes comments that were recorded recently at the White House – is only part of an eight-month makeover so significant that the iconic attraction in the park’s Liberty Square has been retitled Hall of Presidents: A Celebration of Liberty’s Leaders.
