Disney Baby Einstein Introduces Little Ones to Universal First Sounds with Baby’s First Sounds: Discoveries for Little Ears DVD - (DL) (2/26/2008)
The newest addition to the Baby Einstein DVD collection, Baby's First Sounds: Discoveries for Little Ears delightfully introduces little ones to some of the first sounds babies hear. From the “ba” sound in baby and the “ah” sound in arm, to the “pa” sound in papa and the “ma” sound in mama, Baby's First Sounds: Discoveries for Little Ears exposes babies to various first sounds familiar to babies around the world. Hosted by a buzzing Baby Bee puppet and featuring baby-friendly, real world images that are complemented by the classical sounds of Mozart and Schubert, Baby's First Sounds: Discoveries for Little Ears encourages interaction between parents and little ones by inviting them to engage and participate out loud, while discovering the magic of sounds together.

Disney’s Expedition Everest Challenge presented by Champion To Provide Unique Test of Skills and Thrills - (DL) (2/25/2008)
Runners looking to test themselves beyond just physical endurance will find a unique test of skills – and thrills – in the inaugural Disney’s Expedition Everest Challenge presented by Champion in September. Disney’s Expedition Everest Challenge presented by Champion is the first urban adventure race among Disney’s Endurance Series, offering a rare combination of physical and mental challenges that will require competitors to be quick on their feet – literally and figuratively. The nighttime event, which debuts Sept. 27 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, will begin with a 5K run through the theme park, then transition to a fun obstacle course and finish with a scavenger hunt that will require a “passport,” creating the ultimate test of physical stamina as well as intellectual endurance along with a traditional dose of Disney magic.

Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary: "Disney Art Festival" - (DL) (2/22/2008)
Tokyo Disney Resort, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, will be hosting the "Disney Art Festival" on the theme of "Unlock Your Dreams" from April 15 through August 31, 2008. This is an umbrella title for a series of art exhibits that showcase the world of Disney, including a Disney film show at Cinema Ikspiari and exhibits at Tokyo Disneyland Park, Tokyo DisneySea Park, the Disney Resort Line monorail, and at the Disney Ambassador Hotel. Some of the exhibits will be continued after the end of the festival period.

Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary: Tokyo DisneySea Spring Carnival - (DL) (2/22/2008)
To mark the opening of the Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary beginning on April 15, 2008, Tokyo DisneySea Park will present the popular special event “Tokyo DisneySea Spring Carnival” again this year. During this special event Guests will be able to join the Disney characters in a colorful celebration of springtime and flowers.

Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary: New Daytime Parade "Jubilation! Starts April 15 - (DL) (2/22/2008)
Tokyo Disney Resort will kick-off its 25th anniversary celebrations with a new daytime parade "Jubilation!" starting April 15, 2008 at Tokyo Disneyland Park. The new parade is quintessential Disney and filled with everyone’s favorite Disney characters appearing in unexpected settings. There are spectacular floats, vibrant costumes, and breathtaking performances all presented for the first time at any Disney park. Unlike previous parades, this grand procession flows seamlessly together with each unit being tied by a common theme to the next; for example, a river in a jungle leads to a sea, connected by the common theme of water. The parade will stop at a number of locations along the parade route, where the Disney characters, the performers, and the guests can join in a jubilant celebration of the 25th anniversary.

Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary Begins "Opening� Stage - (DL) (2/22/2008)
Tokyo Disney Resort will host an year-long Tokyo Disney Resort 25th Anniversary celebration starting April 15, 2008 through April 14, 2009 under the slogan of “Unlock Your Dreams.” The festivities for this milestone year will be divided into five stages. During the “Opening” stage (April 15 through July 7), Tokyo Disney Resort will begin “unlocking” the dreams of countless Guests with various events and programs filled with dreams and excitement. These include a new daytime parade at Tokyo Disneyland, a new fireworks show at both Parks, a resort-wide art festival and giveaways to guests visiting the Parks on special days.

Disney Marathon Nets Surprising Results - $7.6M for Charities - (DL) (2/21/2008)
The 2008 Walt Disney World (WDW) Marathon weekend was a success, with a record setting 18,000 athletes registering to run the 26.2-mile race and 16,000 for the 13.1 mile race. But beyond the personal triumphs of the athletes, another record was set last month - more than $7.6 million was raised for charities.

Walt Disney Home Entertainment is proud to release some of the most extraordinary treasures from the Disney vault on DVD November 11, 2008 in a limited supply.  All three new two-disc sets of “Destino,” “Dr Syn, Alias the Scarecrow” and “Chronological Donald, Volume 4” will make up the eighth installment of the popular series Walt Disney Treasures, which features rarely seen footage presented with updated color and sound.

Rays Will Return to Disney April 22-24 Vs. Toronto Blue Jays - (DL) (2/15/2008)
The Tampa Bay Rays will return to Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., to play the Toronto Blue Jays, April 22-24. The Rays swept a three-game series from the Texas Rangers at the Disney Sports Complex last May 15-17 in the first regular-season major league games ever played in the Orlando area.

Return to Narnia - The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - (DL) (2/15/2008)
Those who long to spend their days in Narnia will be able to revisit as old heroes return 1,300 years later and a new hero must rise. Disney/Walden Media’s The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian video game will be released at retail stores throughout the United States in time for the film’s May 16, 2008, opening, Disney Interactive Studios announced today.
