Disneyland Weather Report for November 30th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/30/2011)

Hang on to your hats – for the wildest ride in the wilderness.  Sorry I had to.  It's going to be windy today – get it?

It's going to windy, but this will be the last day temperatures will be in the 70s with those Santa Ana winds blowing away.  So it will be cooler today but it will be COLDER tomorrow.  Unsettled weather will run into the weekend with the greatest chance of showers and some high elevation snow possible.

Saturday and Sunday aren't looking too bad in the long term with highs topping out in the mid 60s and plenty of sunshine (after that pesky morning fog of course).

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 30th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/30/2011)

A cool morning for your entry into the parks with a bit of overcast will give way to plenty of sunshine but lower than "normal" temperatures for the day.

Expect the highs to top out somewhere in the mid 60s with a light to moderate breeze out of the northwest. The real fun comes tonight if you forgot a jacket and are waiting for the slightly later than typical Illuminations (which starts at 9:30 through the end of the year because Candlelight).  So if you are reading this and have the option – grab that light coat for tonight – you will be glad you did as lows will get down into the 40s (no that is not a typo).

A gradual warm up is expected the rest of the week and we should be back up into the mid 70s for a high by Friday leading into an excellent weekend.

See you all at the Christmas party next Friday night :-)!

Disneyland Weather Report for November 29th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/29/2011)

Enjoy the warm temperatures today and tomorrow because some changes are coming once again as we head into the weekend.  I'm not liking what I'm seeing on the latest model runs regarding some potential rain once again for the weekend but it's a little too early to hedge our bets on it. So for now enjoy highs in the upper 70s today with some sunshine after about 10am.  Temperatures cool a bit tomorrow but it will still be pleasant with temperatures in the low to mid 70s.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 29th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/29/2011)

Morning clouds left over from the passing front will give way to sunshine.  There's the good news.  The bad news is for people who may not be huge fans of cooler weather (that is why you live or are traveling to the Sunshine State right :-)?)  Anyway, a rather strong cold front has pushed through, which is wreaking some havoc when it comes to travel east of the Mississippi.  Winds have shifted and we'll be lucky to hit 70 today for a high.  The real fun comes tonight if you are planning on being out late because when that sun comes down – with the dry air in effect its going to get cooler than it's been in a while with lows dipping close to 50 and it will be even cooler tomorrow evening/morning.  So if you are reading this and heading to the parks make sure you bring that light jacket for tonight and tomorrow night – you'll be glad you did.

That said it looks like a gorgeous week throughout Walt Disney World and the surrounding areas of Central Florida with sunshine through Friday at least … (hello dry season) … And a gradual warming trend on the way.  We will be back in the mid 70s by Saturday.

The Muppets Debut on the Disney Fantasy - (DL) (11/29/2011)

The Muppets make their debut on Disney Cruise Line in a new adventure game aboard the Disney Fantasy, the new Disney ship setting sail in March 2012. While playing “The Case of the Stolen Show,” guests take an interactive adventure quest around the ship, uncovering clues via more than a dozen pieces of Enchanted Art and physical “evidence.” The adventure begins with Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal and a cast of more than 20 Muppets preparing to stage a big performance. But there’s a problem: Kermit’s banjo is missing, Fozzie’s squirting flower has vanished, Gonzo’s crash helmet has gone astray, Animal’s drum sticks have disappeared and the Swedish Chef can’t find his cleaver! All of the props for the big show have been stolen by a cunning thief (or more likely, another Muppet).

Disneyland Weather Report for November 28th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/28/2011)

A couple of warm days lie ahead with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 80s.  This trend will be short lived though as a cool down is coming mid week (a real cool down) we are talking about a 15 degree temperature drop between highs tuesday and highs thursday.  Low clouds and fog return with the cool down.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 28th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/28/2011)

Not the best day at the parks today as a cold front (which may end up bringing some snow to the south) slowly pushes through the area.  Temperatures will remain warm ahead of it and showers and even a thunderstorm is possible.  Right now it looks like the sun will come out tomorrow but this front has been awfully slow so I wouldn't  be surprised if I had to est my words tomorrow.  That said expect highs only in the 60s when the front passes and plenty of gorgeous sunshine.  You may want that light jacket in the parks tomorrow evening when the sun goes down.

Disneyland Weather Report for Thanksgiving Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/23/2011)

A cool but sunny day with high temperatures in the mid 60s is in store for today.  A weak disturbance may bring some showers to us for Thanksgiving but we'll rebound nicely for all you Black Friday shoppers with plenty of sunshine through the weekend and temperatures seriously warming up into the 70s (and flirting with the 80s) through Sunday.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for Thanksgiving Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/23/2011)

First things first happy Thanksgiving everyone … if you are traveling be careful and if you are heading to the parks for the weekend – you will have HUGE crowds but excellent weather :-)!

As a cool front (which caused havoc across the southeast) approaches the area – temperatures will be coming down but we may have a shower or two today. Skies clear and temperatures will be in the mid 70s for a high tomorrow warming nicely through the weekend back into the low 80s – the humidity levels will be also be lower and it will be downright pleasant.

Disneyland Weather Report for November 22nd from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/22/2011)

Once the fog burns off there should be some sunshine with highs in the upper 60s.  Unfortunately it looks like a little bit of rain may impact your Thanksgiving – but that just means more time to eat multiple helpings of desert.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 22nd from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/22/2011)

Another warm day today in front of an approaching cold front.  High temperatures will top out in the mid 80s but expect a different story for Thanksgiving.  There's a chance for showers today and tomorrow but it won't be a wash out. Temperatures drop into the 70s for highs on Thanksgiving with plenty of sunshine.

Disneyland Weather Report for November 21st from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/21/2011)

A dense fog advisory is once again in effect so please be careful this morning.

Thanksgiving week proves to be much less calm leading up to the actual holiday.  That said showers may be possible on Thursday.  High temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s with plenty of sunshine (after 10am) through Wednesday.

Even as a low pressure brushes by on Thursday we should dry out and warm up a bit as we head into the holiday weekend.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 21st from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/21/2011)

A warm couple of days will start the holiday week off, but a more festive cooler air mass will work it's way in just in time for Thanksgiving with just about a day of unsettled weather in between.

There will be Thanksgiving weather related travel problems over the next few days – but the parks are looking pretty good.  Sunshine with highs in the mid 80s will be the rule today into tomorrow.  Easterly flow will continue to bring showers from the Atlantic to shore but Central Florida should stay dry – though morning fog is without question possible today into tomorrow ahead of a cold front.

The front will push through Wednesday giving us our largest chance for rain this week.  High temperatures will then retreat into the mid 70s with plenty of sunshine Thursday and Friday (and plenty of crowds too).

Another weekend another rain event … after some morning fog the clouds will roll in just in time to ruin your weekend plans.

Highs will get into the mid 60s and then the chance for showers roll in.

Your holiday week is getting off to a good start though – temperatures will remain in the mid 60s but the sun will come out and should stay out through early next week.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for the November 18th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/18/2011)

After a scary couple of days around the country things are calming down for the weekend – and while we missed out on some severe weather – the cool down much of the country is facing is spreading south.

Highs will only make it into the mid 70s today with a lot of wind before warming back up nicely Saturday into Sunday.

Highs will rebound back into the low 80s with plenty of sunshine.

Disneyland Weather Report for November 17th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/17/2011)

Once again I don't  have great news on the weekend.  Clouds and highs in the low 60s will be expected today through Sunday.  The sun will peek out from time to time but it could be a stay inside kind of movie weekend with some showers possible on Sunday.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 17th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/17/2011)

Lookin at the radar this morning I can see some showers or even a thunderstorm in our future today but it should be short lived.  High temperatures in the low to mid 80s today will be replaced with cooler highs in the 70s tomorrow.  It will also be a bit windy tomorrow.

Disneyland Weather Report for November 16th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/16/2011)

A cloudy morning leads to some afternoon sunshine – rinse – repeat.  High temperatures should get up into the low 70s today but enjoy it while it lasts because another cool down is coming.

I don't know what it is about Mother Nature and your weekends but for the third consecutive one – it may rain Saturday – and the temperatures will struggle to get to 60 for a high.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 16th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/16/2011)

Another warm day ahead of a cool down ahead.  You may wake up to some fog this morning which will dissipate well before noon.  High temperatures should reach up into the mid 80s which is a bit warm for this time of year.  If you are wondering where your precious fall went – hang on about 48 hours as Wednesday the high will only be in the mid 70s and it will be rather windy.

A slight chance of rain today leads to a slightly larger chance of rain tomorrow so you may want to keep an eye out for that.

Disneyland Weather Report for the November 11th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/11/2011)

If you recall at the beginning of the week I mentioned that a rather large storm system was setting up to affect the area this weekend with TORRENTIAL amounts possible.  (sigh) … These computer models I tell you.

The chances for rain increase as we head into the weekend after another mild day with highs in the low 70s.  The exact track of the storm system is the problem … as the week progressed the track would take it a little further away but I'm still not comfortable suggesting an outdoor cookout this weekend.

There will likely be rain Saturday even lingering possibly into Sunday, but the heavy rains may pass us by.  The sun should come back out by Sunday afternoon and we'll top out around 67 for a high.  Gradual clearing and warming continues into early next week.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for the November 11th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/11/2011)

Did you bring that light jacket to the park with you like I suggested yesterday?  Did you?  I sure hope so because as they always say what a difference a day makes and that difference is going to last right on into tonight.  So if you are hitting up Extra Magic Hours tonight, keep the jacket nearby because it will get back into the 40s AGAIN for a low.

That said, it will be GORGEOUS today, tomorrow and dare I say even nicer on Sunday (because of the warm up).  High temperatures today will top off somewhere in the upper 60s which quite frankly is simply marvelous park weather. Lower dewpoints are what you will notice most as drier cooler air pushes in behind the front.  With barely a cloud in the sky we are setting up perfectly for a night of radiational cooling so as I said above plan for some of the coolest temperatures we've felt around here in a LONG time (anyone feeling a little bit festive).

The weekend ahead remains sunny with a warming trend with highs topping out around 80 on Sunday and Monday.

Disney's The Lion King Celebrates 14 Years on Broadway Sunday, November 13 - (DL) (11/11/2011)

Disney’s landmark musical event, THE LION KING celebrates 14 years on Broadway on Sunday, November 13th at the Minskoff Theatre (200 West 45thStreet, NYC).

Disneyland Weather Report for November 10th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/10/2011)

Today will be the calm before the storm as we get ready for a pretty strong Pacific storm to brush us.  While it looked like it was going to be a washout latest model runs are scaling back the precipitation considerably which is nice.

That said another warm day follows tomorrow with clouds and showers building throughout the afternoon (you know just in time for the commute).  Saturday still looks like more of a movie day than a Disneyland day as rain is expected.

High temperatures will top out in the low 80s today and then drop into the 70s thanks to cloud cover and shifting winds.  A big cool down is ahead for Sunday as temperatures struggle to get up in to the mid 60s for a high.   Temperatures remain cool into early next week.

Thanks to all the Veterans out there that have and who continue to protect our country.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 10th from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/10/2011)

A rather unsettled day is in store – not a wash out – but not great either.  Today is a transition day and considerably cooler temperatures are in store for tomorrow.  In fact expect lows to get down into the upper 40s so you'll want that jacket if you are going to be in the parks early morning or late night.

High temperatures today are forecast to get up around 80, but with the cloud cover and sprinkles that may be tough to come by.  The cold front that is approaching isn't bringing much rain with it on radar but I'd expect a shower here or there.

Don't let the cool temperatures get you down though because it will be gorgeous with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures rebound nicely back up around 80 for a high by the time we get to Sunday.  Looking ahead to next week, Monday may bring some showers but it's a little too early to know for sure.

Thanks to all the Veterans out there that have and who continue to protect our country.

Disneyland Weather Report for the November 9th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/9/2011)

Enjoy today while you can friends because while I've been hoping for something different – as we get closer to the weekend the models are telling me it's going to be a movie weekend.

A rather strong Pacific storm is going to be moving towards Southern California bringing periods of heavy rain Friday through Saturday along with gusty winds…Friday afternoons commute could be one you want to seriously consider avoiding!

In the short term today and tomorrow look really nice with highs in the upper 70s today reaching into the low 80s on Thursday ahead of the storm. If you had plans for a lovely World of Color dinner package Friday or Saturday – you may want to think about rescheduling!

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 9 from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/9/2011)

Get ready for highs in the 60s!  How's that for a jarring first statement – I myself am not surprised to be typing it but it's always odd to see it in print the first time :-)!  Yes today it's business as usual with sunny skies (well mostly sunny) today and highs right around 80, but tomorrow is the transition day as some showers will move in.

If you are starting your vacation tomorrow and heading to the parks – it won't be a washout by any stretch of the imagination but you may want to keep in mind the slight chance for showers.

Friday looks like a great day but slightly chilly for the locals :-).  Highs will struggle to get out of the 70s and it will be windy.  As is generally the case we rebound quickly and temps get back into the mid 70s Saturday and closer to 80 on Sunday with generally sunny skies.  Enjoy!

Just booked my Mickey Holiday Party tickets – can't wait – hope to see some of you there :-)!

Disneyland Weather Report for the November 8th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/8/2011)

When you think you are out of the woods, guess what a very strong storm could be in your future just in time for the weekend.

In the short term things are looking really nice today and nicer tomorrow. Sunny skies will be the rule today with temperatures around 70 and warming into the mid 70s Wednesday.

Clouds start to build Thursday and the exact track and intensity of the storm is still being worked out so stay tuned to find out if it will be a Disneyland weekend as the holiday celebration continues or a stay inside movie weekend!

Walt Disney World Weather Report for the November 8th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/8/2011)

Newly formed subtropical Sean will keep things dicey on the Atlantic Coast today and the wind flow may push some moisture on shore – long story short – if you had the beach in your plans for this week you may want to put it off a day.

That said get ready for a bit of a temperature change as well towards the end of the week – so long story short if the beach is in your plan – you can't win!  AS I eluded to above there is a chance for showers all day today though they should be light and scattered at best.  Highs will top out in the low 80s and it's looking like tomorrow will be your good park day as mostly sunny skies prevail.

I'm telling you to be ready for some cold air advection from the north (because that's where the cold air is you see) on Veterans day where having a light jacket might not be the worst idea when visiting the parks.

Disneyland Weather Report for the November 7th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/7/2011)

The cool trend from the weekend will linger into early this week as temperatures struggle to make it into the mid 60s for a high.  We rebound nicely through the middle part of the week and we'll top off back in the mid 70s.

Unfortunately it looks like more rain to start the holiday weekend and some of those showers could linger into Saturday.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for the November 7th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/7/2011)

Happy Monday to all of you and here's to a short week for some. While it seems a bit early to be in the Christmas Spirit – I have to thank a few of you guys who sent pictures from Mickey's Holiday Party – you may have convinced me to go this year – as Christmas Wishes is always a sight to see.

Anyway – big changes (temperature wise) are in store this week just in time for the weekend but today into mid week it is business as usual.  I will advise against heading into the Atlantic waters today as high surf could be very dangerous. Closer to the parks I wouldn't be surprised to see showers today and tomorrow – though it will be far from a wash out.

High temperatures should top out around 80 degrees today and remain right around there through most of the week.  A temperature drop of 10 degrees or so can be expected for your Veterans Day.

Disneyland Weather Report for the November 4th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/4/2011)

What a soggy morning we have on our hands.  Expect showers possible all day and then into the weekend believe it or not.  Saturday isn't looking too bad but it will be cooler than average (which is quite the departure from mid week).  Showers return Sunday and temperatures remain cool, but the sun comes back out to start the week next week and temperatures will rebound back up to around 70.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for the November 4th Weekend from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/4/2011)

First things first I apologize with how late I am getting these forecasts out.  I've been on the West Coast but return today from Los Angeles.

Looks like a nice day upon us today though a bit windy with temperatures in the mid 70s.  Temperatures warm up through the weekend and the chance for showers increase through Sunday.

Disneyland Weather Report for November 3 from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/3/2011)

A cool day today will lead to an even cooler day tomorrow - expect showers Friday with slow clearing as we roll towards Saturday.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 3 from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/3/2011)

Another mostly sunny day is on tap - and we shouldn't have any surprises when it comes to the weather.  Expect high temperatures around 80 today.  Tomorrow the chance for showers increases and the changes come for the start of the weekend when the sun returns Saturday, but so does the wind.  Expect a windy day with a high around 75 for any Saturday park adventures.

Disneyland Weather Report for November 2 from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/2/2011)

Santa Ana winds will be gusting today keeping things warmer than average for this time of year and flirting with 90 in areas is not out of the question.  Changes are ahead for the weekend though so enjoy the warmth - clouds build throughout the day tomorrow and it looks like a little bit of cool rain is in the forecast through the weekend.

Walt Disney World Weather Report for November 2 from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/2/2011)

The next couple of days are looking great for a little park hopping.  Temperatures will top out in the upper 70s today and warm up a little from there for Thursday.  That same chance for showers is in the forecast for Friday, but they will be scattered at best - then you can expect clearing for the rest of the weekend with slightly lower high temperatures.  All in all you can't ask for much more as Magic Kingdom transforms itself into a winter holiday paradise - better a costume transformation than the real thing I always say!  My parents live in CT and STILL don't have power - incredible!

Disneyland Weather Report for November 1 from @WDW_Weather - (DL) (11/1/2011)

After a typically foggy start the sun should be out before noon.  Watch out for extremely windy conditions possible tomorrow.  After the winds die down expect a cooldown for Thursday with a chance for showers on Friday.
