I think the fast pass works out great. When we enter one of the parks we have the teens take everyones pass and go get our first fast pass. We deside on the ride we want to do first before we leave the hotel. This last trip we had a grope of 20 so there were pleny of passes. If our return time is more then 2 hours we make sure to get our next pass two hours after the first pass, there is plenty to do while we waite or we stand in line or see a show. Fast pass works well for my family, so give it a try.

I work at Soarin', so I know that, yes, we let you in late because we're tired of hearing yet more whining about how the system sucks. We know the system sucks. We wish we could take a hammer to it, quite frankly. We're tired of being threatened with violence at a merge point because you've been standing there two hours with the other people who queued up knowing the line is two hours long while fastpass whizzes by. We're tired of the cursing, the crying, the "I paid thousands of dollars for this vacation to sit in line." Welcome to a theme park. You should expect wait times. If your fastpass takes 20 minutes, that's 100 less than the guy on the other side, so cry me a river.
